Rachel at the Gallery
Author: WillWhat a weekend I have had! I got back from Los Angeles on Thursday and started training a new employee on Friday, then found my way to the bars in Buckhead and managed to meet a really chill chick. Anyways, today, Rachel and I shot some more photos at the gallery she works at in Peachtree Hills. My first impression about the gallery was “clutter.” But as she showed me around, I realized that it was a good location; especially utilizing the fire escape off the back of the building. I had a great time with her as usual! Look for me soon!

A few months ago, Colleen and I went out to take some photos and I have been extremely busy and have not had time to post these images. I took these photos at an old dock near the Milledgeville Airport that seems to be abandoned. Hope you like them!

Ariana and I had been trying to do some rain photos all week. Thanksfully, yesterday, I got out of class very early and she skipped her class and it POURED!! It was awesome and her hot pink bra really stuck out in the images. During one of the photos in just the pink bra, some lucky soul walked out of the business school to see her laying down on the bricks. We had a great time and I think these photos came out pretty well!!

Wow, so this photo shot is a little old just like my Wyonming images. These were taken the week after I got back, but since I always try and put my photos shoots on my blog in the order they were shot, well these got pushed back a little. Erin came over with her friend, Mallory, who just wanted to “watch.” As you can see, Erin talked her into doing a little modeling herself and wearing one of my button down shirts!! This was a lot of fun thanks to some great girls!

Lauren, a photographer that worked for me at the Colonnade, came over today so that we could discuss some possibilites for photos. But when she arrived she had this amazing glow about her with the yellow shirt and her amazing eyes, and I had to capture it with my camera. So I took her to a window and used a few different lights and a fan to get these images. I am looking forward to shooting her again!

Last Tuesday, Erin and I took a short drive out to Central State Hospital in search of more photos. I took her to the outside of the old boiler buildings and there was a ton of potential for photos unfortunately though, it was a lot hotter than we had realized and the flies were horrible so we cut the shoot a little shorter than I had planned, but I still got these images!

Whoever said you can’t meet the woman of your dreams in a bar? Well I didn’t meet her in a bar, I had met her before hand, but seeing her at a bar reminded how stunningly beautiful she was and that I needed to ask her if she would like to model for me. This being Erin’s first time modeling, I think she did an amazing job and I hope we have many more shoots to come!

This past Sunday, I got to take some photos of this stunning Filipino woman that is friends with Mallory (another model of mine). We went to Central State Hospital for a little trespassing in one of their old boiler rooms that is no longer in use. There were lots of greats backdrops there with cobwebbs and rust and all.

Monday evening, Mallory, Ben, and I took a short trek over to the same train tracks that first started my photography of Mallory. She needed to do a self-portrait assignment for her Photo I class and enlisted my help in the process. Naturally, I brought my camera and some new lighting gear along as well and found some nice images. Feedback is very welcome!

Mallory, the girl who has modeled for me twice in the past few months, is taking Photography I this may and she asked me to go with her to take some photos. Originally, I was going to just shoot images of anything and everything, but that turned into me shooting more images of her. I even managed to get an interesting shot of her with her camera that she doesn’t want me to post, maybe sometime in the future…

Last week, Mallory and I headed out to downtown Milledgeville for some more modeling type shots. We went to the area behind downtown because I think there are a lot of great locations there for these photos. The only problems was being behind the local pool hall/ white trash hangout area, so we had a lot of guys coming out of every door admiring how beautiful Mallory is. This wasn’t a big deal a first, but after she started always smiling because of all the men standing behind be staring and drooling all over themselves, I had to put a stop to it. Thankfully they listened and left us alone for most of the remainder of the shoot. Hope you guys like what you see and comments/critiques are always welcome!

Yesterday, what a day! My neighbor, Mallory, and I took a short walk to the railroads tracks that run through Milledgeville for a informal, last minute photo shoot. I had no clue what I was in for… she is a great model and she is absolutely beautiful! So here is a small selection of what I got and it was a very hard edit to choose these five.

The sunset was gorgeous tonight, so when Lindsey and I got back from the digital lab I quickly grabbed my camera and we hurried back outside to get some pictures. The clouds with the blue sky turned out to be the best part and Lindsey was a great model.

On Sunday, my roommate, Ben and I were just hanging around the apartment watching some television and I got an itch to take some photos. Before he got uncomfortable with the situation and starting flashing obsenities at me, I got this image of him that captures his personality pretty well, in my opinion.

Today, Brittany asked me to take a photo for her to incorporate into a self portrait assignment she has for one of her art classes this semester. After we finished up on the Colonnade for the week, we headed back to her place and hung a black sheet on the wall and starting looking for the proper angle to get across her ideas. This was the image we decided on in the end. Hope you like it!
