My philosopher friend, Joe Weissman (check out his philospophy blog here), came by to talk about the workings of everything we know dear on this evening with Janga Blocks in hand. After much intriguing conversation and a couple games of Janga the idea to build Stonehenge was formed. This image is proof that we built it even though it might not be a perfect replica.

Back on April 28, Ben (my roommate) and I set out to find a photo themed “GROWTH” near my dad’s house in Cleveland, Ga. Due to the language of the contract for the contest, I was not able to post this image until after the final jugding took place else I might be disqualified. So here it is at long last. I decided to satirize the theme when we happened upon this phone booth at the Blood Mountain Store north of Helen, Ga.

Monday evening, Mallory, Ben, and I took a short trek over to the same train tracks that first started my photography of Mallory. She needed to do a self-portrait assignment for her Photo I class and enlisted my help in the process. Naturally, I brought my camera and some new lighting gear along as well and found some nice images. Feedback is very welcome!

Mallory, the girl who has modeled for me twice in the past few months, is taking Photography I this may and she asked me to go with her to take some photos. Originally, I was going to just shoot images of anything and everything, but that turned into me shooting more images of her. I even managed to get an interesting shot of her with her camera that she doesn’t want me to post, maybe sometime in the future…

This is my 9-month old niece that I got to see on Sunday for Mother’s Day at my father’s house. I had a nice time with the family and some great homecooked food. And, for now, I am back at my home in Milledgeville for a few days rest from a long month of traveling.
