It’s that time of year again!

For Women’s Soccer, I mean! We are doing a preview story of the team for the first issue of the Colonnade, so I went to practice today to get some images for the story. When I first got there, they were doing this huge circle drill which was almost impossible to photograph, so I tried some stuff and just waited patiently. Next, this did this running drill called the “beep drill.”During this, I got the idea to try some panning stuff and just see what happens. I knew I already had a decent image at this point so it wouldn’t matter if I didn’t get anything. But I ended up with these two images in which the players are tack sharp. Oh and the girl in the light blue shorts in the top image is Meridith Moran, star soccer player and Ad Manager for the Colonnade this year, so she just might kill me for putting that here, lol.

Hot Air Balloons that is! The other evening, the Grove rented a hot air balloon to come and give short up and down rides to the people of the complex and I told the manager that I would get some pictures for her. So here are a few shots from that day and Jess, please don’t kill me ![]()

The other day, Brittany and I decided to brave the scorching Central Georgia heat and go out and take some photos in the middle of the afternoon. I wanted to go to a place that didn’t seem as great once we went, so we kept driving down that street and found a train bridge that she had been wanting to photograph for a while now. This is what I got, hope you like.

This past weekend, I went to Charleston with my friend, Joe. We spent the first day on the beach, where I took these photos, then later went downtown and saw more of the town. The main purpose for the trip was Mark and Erin’s wedding on Satuday night which was a lot of fun. I saw a lot of people I haven’t seen in a while and met a whole bunch a great photographers as well. Plus, I was able to have fun a party at the wedding instead of having to work.
