Author: WillI’ve been working on my image archive a lot lately and today I came across some old images that I have never posted. These were taken around Milledgeville, Ga in 2005. I’m hoping to roll out some official major changes to site very soon! Look for an annoucement soon!

Author: WillA few weeks ago, I had to pleasure of photographing an old friend’s wedding at the Roswell Mill in Roswell, Ga. The bride and I grew up together, from playing in the crib to hanging out in a few bars, we have been friends for a very long time. It was so special to be part of her day. Originally, she asked me for referrals for photographers during her wedding planning, but I couldn’t think of a better wedding gift than to capture her day on film (so to speak) for her. It was great to see so many old friends and family while I was there as well. To view the entire slideshow, click below.

Author: WillHave you ever just needed a release from something? Today, about an hour before sunset, I just needed to get away from my computer and work for a bit. I grabbed one memory card, one lens, my keys, and left for about an hour. These images are no more than 5 miles away from my home, but I felt like I was hundreds of miles away. It was wonderful to just go and shoot. I hope to do this more often.

Yesterday, I went on a photo hunt around Cleveland, GA. My initial hopes were to drive up an old road to the top of a mountain. I made it 80% of the way before some yocal caught up with me on a 4-wheeler. He made it very clear that (even though it was not posted) this was private land (not his) and I could not be up there. After pissing him off with a few sarcastic comments, I turned my car around, totally disgusted. On the drive back to my house, I noticed this lone tree in front of the setting sun. I couldn’t resist, especially after my encounter with the natives. Enjoy!

Author: WillYesterday, Ariana and I spent some time exploring the abandoned buildings of the Central State Psychiatric Hospital in Milledgeville, GA. We started in the two retired boiler buildings before finding a way inside of an old patient ward. The color, light, and texture of this dilapidated architecture inspired Ariana and I to continue our adventure for just over five hours. Click below to see a slideshow of more images from the day.

Author: WillOn Superbowl Sunday, I took a hike to the top of Blood Mountain with Erin, Adam, Jen, Mark, Foto, Fiona, and Wiley. This was a great time to show myself how out of shape I am on the day before my 25th birthday. After the hike we went back to Jen & Adam’s house for some food and fun while we watched the Superbowl. Jen topped the evening off with a double chocolate birthday caked topped with my “WG” logo. I couldn’t have asked for more. ![]()

Author: WillIn the past two weeks, my life has dramatically changed in a great way! I finished my last full semester in college (I am taking one final class this Spring to finish my degree), moved out of Milledgeville and into my Dad’s house, started my corporation, and got a ‘real’ job.
The name of my new corporation is WG International, Inc. This is the company I will be running my photo business through as well as any other business ventures I decide to pursue (which will be many). Through this company, I will be working for The Decisive Moment and The Orange Block.
The Decisive Moment is a Wedding Photography company that I have recently started working for. All of my weddings will now go through them. So if you or any of your friends are in the market for a wedding photographer, be sure the check me out there!
The Orange Block is an Education Marketing photography company based in Atlanta, Ga. I have assisted for these guys on a bunch of edu shoots and have had a blast, now I get do it on my own. This should be a lot of fun. Again, if you know any schools that might need some photography be sure to send them this way!
ShootQ is innovative online photography studio management software and I have recently joined their team as the Customer Service Manager. This is an amazing opportunity for me to develop my business skills with some great business people and get a salary while I build my photo business. Be sure to go have a look at the website and see what you think. If any of you guys are photographers, you really should check out the site.

A friend of mine is trying to sell his high rise condo in Buckhead so he enlisted my help to get some nice photos to help the selling process along with the horrible real estate market. Since he has some beautiful views from his Condo, I wanted to show just how beautiful the place could be at sunset. I think they came out quite well. Now lets hope he can sell his place sometime soon!
